This is one of those posts where it’s honestly difficult to put into words because there aren’t enough words to describe what my life is like dealing with PCOS and what’s it been like for the past 15 years.

My weightloss has certainly helped with the symptoms of #pcos. My life is certainly more manageable now! But this doesn’t mean at all that I am rid of pcos. It always seems to read it’s head when you least expect it.

With September quickly approaching and it being the PCOS awareness month I figured it was time to throw this out there. If you are experiencing these symptoms you aren’t alone there are lots of ladies out there !

Crockpot to freezer spaghetti sauce!


With my schedule rapidly getting fuller I have been seeking easy ways to make more food that I can freeze for even easier cooking later on.

Today’s great find crockpot spaghetti sauce ! ( this recipe is what I personally used – you can tweak to please your taste buds)

✔️1 onion
✔️4 tablespoons olive oil
✔️4-6 cloves minced garlic
✔️2 cans 28oz diced tomatoes
✔️1 8oz can tomato sauce
✔️1 6oz can tomato paste
✔️7.5 oz jar sun dried tomatoes
✔️1/4 cup brown sugar
✔️3 tablespoons oregano, basil tomato spice blend
✔️1 tablespoon sea salt
✔️1/2 teaspoon red chilli pepper crushed
✔️20 cranks of fresh ground black pepper
✔️1 tablespoon parsley
✔️1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

I doubled the ingredients and ran two crock pots at once .


Combine diced onion, olive oil,and minced garlic in crockpot on low for about an hour- stir and check after 30 minutes.

Add remaining ingredient to crockpot and summer on low for 4-6 hours stirring at least hourly.

Realistically the sauce is done after an hour or two but I like to simmer to get the hearty flavor and break down the tomatoes a little more.

After cooked to your satisfaction let sauce cool completely before putting in freezer safe storage. Make sure to date when you made it so you don’t forget ! Use within 3-4 months for highest quality !

Clean banana chocolate muffins


I love baking and recently have been experimenting and playing with recipes trying to find good ingredients that are worthy of being called a clean treat- I give you…

Chocolate banana muffins / optional peanut butter topping-

✔️3 ripe bananas
✔️1/2 cup stevia in the raw
✔️1 large egg
✔️1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
✔️1/2 cup whole wheat flour
✔️1/2 cup spelt
✔️1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
✔️1/2 teaspoon salt
✔️1 teaspoon baking soda
✔️1 teaspoon baking powder
✔️1 cup semi sweet baking chunks or chips – feel free to have more for adding to the top


Preheat oven to 375degreesF

Line your muffin pan with baking cups- or grease your chosen baking apparatus well – I used coconut oil !!

In a large bowl mash up the bananas very well. Make sure there are no clumps anywhere.
Add in the egg, applesauce and stevia to the bananas and mix well.

Sift the flour, spelt, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder into the wet ingredients (banana mixture) Lightly mix the ingredients and then fold in the chocolate chunks. Be careful not to over mix the batter. It will be slightly chunky !

Pour the batter into muffin tins are whatever you chose to bake in. Be sure to only fill your baking device half full.

Feel free to sprinkle some chocolate chips/chunks on top if you desire a stronger chocolate fudge taste.

Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick placed in the center comes out clean.

When done you can put peanut butter on the top as a icing or leave plain. I like both.

These muffins will last up to 5 days covered in the fridge or 3 months frozen.

Tank top storage solution


Tank top storage like a boss!

If you are anything like me You have a crazy amount of tank tops, cutoff and other workout gear!

Without going into great expense here’s what you need to store them efficiently (where you can see what you’ve got) and not take up a lot of room.

1⃣4 plastic hangers ( I used 3 because of the weight of all my tank tops)

2⃣ plastic shower curtain rings (any kind -no one will see them but you ) check clearance sections for great deals – usually 12 off $1.00 at most

Hang the shoulders through curtain rings and attach to hangers

☀️- don’t worry they may slide to one side ☀️

I keep the rings slightly open do ease of access when removing and replacing tanks!
